Here is a YouTube link to an amazing performance of a famous Chinese song called 月亮代表我的心。Loosely translated, the name of the song means "The Moon Knows My Heart". The amazing bit of the performance is that the singer doesn't speak Chinese! Click "Read more..." to see the video. I hope that this video will inspire all our students but especially those in our bilingual classes to learn Chinese. |

Singing is one way of learning language. In order to encourage students’ interest in learning Chinese through singing, we will hold the first annual karaoke competition “Chinese School Idol”. The competition will be held on Nov. 14, 21, and Dec. 5. The winners will perform in the Christmas party (Dec. 19). A list of suggested songs have been posted on this page. |
